We need to get a few of us together with stock/JB/flashed cars and do some testing :-D

I had my car put on a dyno when it was a few weeks old to take some baseline power and torque measurements, I'm pretty sure I still have the graphs. Would be interested in seeing how others compare.

81GGR:
Below is a dyno run of my car with ONLY the SSTT and Catless DP's and then Procede and Catless DP's. Taken about 10 min after initial installation (many other dyno's out there as well)(Stage 2 map) 268kw....that simple. I probably am making more than that since I didn't let the engine completely adapt: |

Would be fun to do this. Perhaps at Willowbank Drags? Although not entirely scientific as too many variables it would provide for some interesting results. Here is my dyno after DMS reflash (rwkw): |

Here is mine.
Standard vs Procede. I think standard was 192kW. Runs were 10 minutes apart. The car had not other mods. This was running stage 1 maps. I have since added decat pipes and DCI and stage 2 maps. I expect my result would now be similar to adrean8j. Adrian |

Nice result. For a while I agonized over piggyback vs reflash. In the end it was the reflash which suited my needs. Can you remember what gear this pull was done in?
The n54 turbos seem to run out of steam after 5500 rpm and after 6k rpm a tuned one will approach stock levels. I would have so much prefered a high revving m3 csl engine in there, this I think would make the 135 a collectors car. I miss the characteristic wail of a high revving BMW in line 6, oh well blame carbon emmissions and stuff. |

That rpm is wrongly scaled. I had been tuning a wrx immediately before and just stuck the 135 on for a power run. I forgot to change the gear ratio. The run is done in 4th on a 6mt. Max power is actually around 6k.

Great dynos guys! So catless DPs will add approx 25-30rwkw?
x5mad, maybe in the cooler months would be better anyway. We'll see what we can do later in the year |

Nice result, that's for certain. I remember mine racked up 200 killer wasps on a hot yucky day, so if I can add 20% to that I'd be quite chuffed.
Good bang for your buck mod by the look of things. Wonder how Shannons would feel about me installing it... |
