I know it the wrong site to post this. I saw a chrome BMW M3 picture before. Look like this color is getting popular..

this car is actually made out of silver - not silver paint, but actual silver. good luck trying to keep it clear - but then again, with all this guys money is probalby has a team of people polishing it every day

No it's not made out of silver, it's chrome. The solid silver bodyshell is a rumor, plus silver isn't really a desired material for a car.

The paint theme comes from Audi's 1991 concept car Avus, which was finished in unpainted aluminum.

so its not really chromed? its polished?

I think it polished. Jaguar has one concept car was also polished aluminum

I saw this at my cousins house. This is the former president of some Arab country. You guys should see the rest of his house. In a picture, he had about seven 745's, two Phantom's, etc. He has a shiiit load of nice cars, and his house is as big as some cities, lol.

would that even be street legal? Seems like a chrome car would reflect the sunlight and blind people on the road.

Having said that...almost makes me wanna get that kind of finish on my ride!

My guess is that color would be illegal in the US to drive with because of the glare/reflection is causes. If its not illegal, it probably should be.
