Just placed my order - how long should I expect?

I've been lurking about for a while now. Finally ordered my AW 135i w/ M-Sport and HK sound today. Pretty excited, as I currently have a 2009 Subaru WRX, and I'm looking forward to the upgrade... I'm getting it for $37,000 which is 1000$ above invoice and seems fair, I guess.

Anyways, how long are people waiting to receive their car? is it always 6-8 weeks?

I also need to sell the WRX and I've never sold my own car before, what is the best way to do this nowadays?

Thanks for the help!

Also, I checked the status of my vehicle on the BMW Owners website, and it is listed as a 128i, instead of a 135i. Should I be worried? I'm looking at the order form and it says 135i.

6-8 weeks sounds right.

No it will change. And then again it might not. I ordered basically the same car and owners circle showed a silver ext with black interior. I'm still waiting for the car but it looks like 7 weeks is the magic number for me. Check my signature for my timeline so far. Congrats on the purchase

From the time it leaves the Port of Bremerhaven until it arrives in Ca is about one month.Your CA should have alerted you to the folly of relying upon the Owners Circle.

My sales adviser told me the info on the site is always full of mistakes but you may want to call and make sure you aren't getting a 128i for the price of a 135i...

I got mine last month, I think it took right around one month which was less than anticipated.

Hmmm, this seems to be in line with what i have been reading, so that means my car will be done with production in 2 weeks?

I deleted my car, then added it again, and now it is a 135 with M sport, but doesn't show the HK sound. My CA gave me a copy of the vehicle inquiry report and it has the options I want, so I'm not too worried.

1 month?? that's really fast, they must have shipped your car the day after your ordered it..
