I think I might get a tarp or something so we have somewhere "dry" to put our mats, trunk liners, ect... if it decides to rain while we're driving/working.

I was also debating about bringing the foul weather gear i use while sailing to wear while on work duty, but since it is "traffic cone orange" I think I'll just stick to a regular jacket, lest I am mistaken for a part of the course.

I have a blue tarp.. ill bring it..

I just got contact lenses!!! ..itll be the first time putting my helmet on without forgetting to take glasses off in ten years LOL...

OH MAN.. forgot about that.. I did check it out, but they have alot of weekday events... few week end events.. I havent heard anything about them befor, but i will ask around..

there was an an scca auto x there last week.. I didn go, but my friend did.. he didnt mention anything ????

I am definitely not missing out. I did 2 Auto-X events in the rain. Usualy only half the people show up and you are able to have a lot more fun

Besides it is only like 30% chance of showers, and that is in the late afternoon.

I thought weekday events would be fun until i registered for summer classes

It was a nice day... 4 out of 5 cars in my class were within .45 seconds...!! somebody had to come in last>>>>> me <<<<<

Oh well next time i guess !!!

I must say I got props from some workers during my last run where coming back down thru the off-set straights, I had a head of steam on and i wrenced harder than i should have to the right and lost the tail.. ended up in a smokeeeeeeyyyy 180, that i quickly turned into a 360 by laying into the throttle. I lined myslef up for the second set of cones, and continued on.... NO OF-COURSE, and NO CONES !!

clean run at 69.343 LOL... Best time was 61.972 for me ..

It was a fun event, nice seeing everybody there. 'D' had top 5 within .4 seconds as well! I think all of the classes were really close. I thought the course design was really great, and probably one of the most fun tracks I've done. Will definitely hit some more events before the next BMW event, although normally have the most fun with NYBMWCCA. See you again soon!
