Paranoid about noises when accelerating
Hey Guys.
see link: http://www.datazap.me/u/smilesanhour...=0&data=4-5-15 I have had Wedge tuning my car. It is pulling very very well, much better than the Cobb Pro tune. peaking at 22.1 psi. (mods are cp,5" fmic, bms intake, bmw pe, bms dp, cobb ap) Car pulls very strong now, but I'm a little paranoid because I really want it to be a durable tune. That said, I feel like I'm hearing some noises I'm not used to. One is very easily heard in the link I've attached (happens a few seconds after I let off the throttle). The other is during acceleration and comes from the back left side, hard to hear, kinda has a "sizzle" noise (idfk). Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or am I paranoid and trippin? Josh

At first listen, it sounds almost like mild turbo flutter, like one of your diverters isn't hooked up right, or isn't venting properly. I would visually inspect your diverters to verify their connections. Could also be just a hardware complaint as maybe the boost you are running exceeds what the stock diverters were designed to handle. Maybe consider upgrading them to aftermarket.
