CTS intercooler trouble

If anyone could please help. I bought a CTS intercooler. Having a hard time trying to fi it t. It is not stepped, nor does it have the easy connect. No screws came with the intercooler and it is significantly heavier than the stock intercooler. Thinking about returning it. Seems like a pain in the rear. It came with an L pipe, two attachments, and clamps.

Furthermore, I did cut the necessary pieces, but having a hard time with the charge pipe fitment with the L pipe. Also, as I stated prior, the stock intercooler screws don't seem like they would hold this new intercooler past a speed bump..

Any help is much appreciated.

It should have 100% come with mounting screws as they are the only thing that will actually hold the intercooler up. You install them first before trying to push the intercooler up, as they guide you for positioning.

You can see the type of screws you should have at the 16:50 minute mark. Yes this is a different brand, but they procedure for a 7" FMIC is still the same.

Also did you remove the plastic corner piece on the passenger side? Shown on Post #8 in this thread: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=563071
