weird puddle...

So anyone got a clue what this is? Drove it today, wasn’t there… it’s not wet outside or raining…. It was a bit wet last time I drove it but it just started today… seems like just water?

You can’t see the source in the door jamb or under the hood… is the windshield washer bottle behind the fender?

Yes, it hides behind the front bumper/in front of the right wheel. Throw a paper towel over the puddle and see what color the fluid is that soaked up.

Maybe not that then… where do sun roof drains end up?

I’ll check the color but seemed pretty clear and odorless when I touched it

Can't tell how much further under the car the puddle goes, but placement is about right for the AC drain if that puddle goes over towards the center of the car/trans area...

If it's clear clean water, then my vote is AC condensation
Just touch it with a finger and take a look & sniff. Should be able to decide easy enough...

AC condensation comes down more towards the center of the car. Thats most likely the windshield washer tank leak or even the coolabt expansion tank too. I replaced mine due to a leak around it.

Picture looks like it’s coming from the gap between the door, not underneath the car right? If that’s the case, then it’s the windshield washer pump. Had to replace that as I also started leaking around there.

You’re right about where it’s leaking from… I’ve never used the washer pump! Lol
I’ll have to check it out

Yeah, my reservoir kept getting low. I had orange washer fluid and that’s how I knew after there was an orange like puddle from that area. It’s not too bad of a fix. Plenty of diy videos. Pulling out the reservoir is a bit finnicky, but easy to get back in.

Awesome! Was yours the pump or reservoir?

It was pump. I replaced both the headlight washer pump (if you have it equipped on the car) and the windshield washer pump.
Fluid begins to leak from the grommets/seals of the pump.
