New pricing
I just got an email from my local dealer and he said the 128 will be around 28k and the 135 will be around 31k give or take a few hundred bucks. The waiting list has already begun. He said ordering will begin in March 08.

Is that Dollars or Euros? And if it's BMW Military Sales then BMW USA will charge about 3k more

He didn't specify if it was for the Military Sales Program or direct guesstimation from BMWNA. Not trying to rub salt in the wound but, we can buy a 335 for low 30's. I can't imagine a 135 going for more than 31k fully loaded for us.

Ok, then my guess is that it probably WAS the Military Sales price. I remember that the 325/330 were right about 3k cheaper when I priced them out, so about 34-35 for std BMW USA pricing sounds about right
And there's no salt here dude, I won't be buying the 135 until I get stationed back in Germany

How do you go about getting in touch with the military salespeople?
$31k would be ridiculous. Where do I sign...?

I cannot see the price difference between the 128 and 135 only being 3K. The 135 engine alone is at least a 3k-4k premium, not to mention the other standard features compared to the 128. I am a little concerned about the price of the 128. If the 128 coupe starts at 28K, then the convertible would probably be 3K-5K more, which is starting to get a little pricey for me. The difference between the 328 coupe and convertible is $7,900, but hopefully that is because it is a hardtop convertible. With the 128 being a softtop hopefully it will not be that much more than the coupe.

If the 31k is true, I am thrilled. If we start pushing 35+ I might have to take on a night job at the local stop and rob....
My wife is very interested in the car, which is a huge plus. I really like the silver graphite color but can't seem to find a pic of a 1er in that color. Anyone have a pic with said color?

28 seems high unless it included delivery because 28 is where the 328 starts at thru Military sales so I see like maybe 26, for the 128, and about 30, for the 135 I could be wrong but man I hope i'm right

I thought so for both models actually. If the 328 and the 335 are going for 28k and 31k prespectively, the 1er should be a bit cheaper. Also, I don't anything about Army or Marines. My tune is Anchors Aweigh.

Production for the BMW 1 Series thru the Military Sales Program will begin in March 08, with first production delivery to begin in late April 08. Note....The waiting list is growing by the day..The estimated base price for the 128i is at 25k, for the 135i at 31k.(Estimate only, give or take a hundred or two). Do you guys in the armed forces have pricing on any other existing models? Are they generally around the same percentage discount? We could work the pricing back from there...
