Why are your rotors' slots sweeping in opposite directions? In one picture it looks like one rotor's slots are sweeping from the middle towards the outside, and in the other it looks like the rotor's slots are sweeping from the outside towards the middle.

make sure that when you are going forward that the TOP of the slot hits the brake pad first... pics can be confusing because we dont know which side its on but it looks like one of your rotors is installed wrong??

other wheel
dunno if anyone posted but look at where the ///m is on the first pic and then on the second it looks like it is on the other side of the car. so the rotors should be installed right.
if not someone should slap a mech. |

Take a look @ the BMW dealer set-up car in this thread,...you can see the front rotors in the pics near the bottom. One sweeps one way, the other side sweeps the opposite. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-1...mZ350089242625

I wish those were the M PAck wheels in the US. I have driven a 135i with the exhaust at BMW training ansd it was great. It had many of the performce parts including the brakes, steering wheel, rims, brakes, exhaust and intake. I like the exhaust but it was very quiet. It sounded great but I wish it was just a little louder at WOT.

I have it on my 330i. Best bank for the buck mod. The shifter knob and boot also look and feel amazing.

The orientation of the slots doesn't matter if the internal rotor cooling vanes are straight. Straight vanes will draw air through the rotor either way it turns. If the internal vanes are curved it would make them directional, and the slots would be cut 90 degrees from the vanes, which would make them appear directional. It's easy enough to verify.. remove the wheel and look into the cooling vane. If you can see through it to the center area of the rotor they're striaght.
