Dan, just to be sure, what software does my dealer need to program?

Edit: I only ask because I have some trust issues with my dealer and it is a 75 mile trip to the nearest one.

National Bohemian was my staple beer in college. That, and Yuengling. A case of Natty Bo could be bought for 8 bucks, or less if you bought multiple cases. It was cheaper than Natty Light!

Dan, order placed!

What extra functions does this have except for horn blows when towed or opened?

Can you close the sunroof and windows by remote?

BTW, Dan, could you please tell us what the version number of this software is?

And anyone knows how to verify the version number of the software installed in the car?

Software version needed is Progman 31.2 which should be available by Monday at your local dealer. This is required to complete activation of your alarm system

Thanks everyone for your support!

My dealer quoted me $667 plus tax for alarm installed, but since I just bought the alarm I guess it would cost $427.00 to install and program. Sounds high to me.

That is crap if it is true. That sounds like over 3 hours of chargeable time.

Dan: Can you chime in on what United charges to install?

It takes about 3 hours to do the update. My dealership charges 120.00 and hour so almost 400 bucks to program the alarm. That is without the install. I was about to order then I called my dealership. Oh and by they way, that price was at the cheapest one I called.

Uhh wow. No wonder they call them stealers (other than United of course :biggrin. We charge 2 hours for install and programming. Programming takes 1 hour, so whoever told you 3 Angel, is full of it.. they're just trying to make an extra dime

Damn those bastards. The shady part is that all 3 that I called told me three hours. Go figure. Thanks for the feedback Dan!
