The butter smooth engine, even at high revs, combined with the great manual gearbox. The crisp turn-in now that the car is on Eibachs/Konis.
I will admit that I enjoy driving the car more than I do looking at it. Maybe a Z2 Coupe in my future? |

I just like the whole package--from deciding on a 128, to getting Terra interior with BSM, splurging on the M-Sport package, the thought that goes into producing such a car, and the fun of just going out and driving.
It's my first BMW, but I have come to realize how BMW views a car as a complete package, more so than other cars I have owned. |

1) A hugely capable sporty daily driver setup
2) Torquetorquetorque 3) Nice touches like the engraved start button, premium package exterior lights, factory painted brake calipers, shadowline exhaust 4) Being at altitude with two turbos 5) The sport package wheel and shift knob 6) That other "car guys" will go out of their way to compliment the 135 |

Having taken a few things apart, I would add:
Electrical connectors that pivot off near effortlessly compared to U. S. built cars. Anti-rattle springs on the brakes that are not cheap little pieces of fragile metal. Dust caps for the brake bleed valves. Trap door in the under vehicle pan for the oil drain plug. Oil filter right up on top of the engine where it is accessable. Adjustable speed sensitive volume on the radio. Availability of bracket to mount a Garmin GPS on the dash. Clearly marked places to jack the car up from. Jim

Despite the bad (trust me, I have a lot of bad) I do still love my car
<-------see sidebar I love... Midrange punch Sport Seats Paddles Topless at 120 Perf exhaust The handling (when it isnt pushing) because we all may bitch about it. But the suspension itself is pretty good for a stock car. It just has shit swaybars. Interior design. Its simple and purposeful. Seeing more Feraris in a manth than 1ers. |
