Are you looking to swap out your headlight bulbs for a different color bulb, or do you need a full HID kit? I thought all E90's came with HID's from the factory.

Just to set the record straight, I haven't requested anything to be removed from this thread if that is what anybody is thinking.

As was said earlier in this thread, if you only want to have ads posted from people selling used parts, my apologies. If you want to be offered new and up-coming products from highly respected companies, you shouldn't chase us away by yelling SPAM at every post we make (my company and other companies included).

We are more than willing to pay to be a supporting vendor here in order to support the E90Post community. However, in order for this forum to grow, the members here need to be more welcoming towards companies like myself.

Hey Chris, not that I am aware of yet. I know that some of our manufacturers are working on a bulb like that, and we will be happy to offer it to you when it is available.

No, my e90 doesnt come with the factory HID. I need a full HID kit to replace the stock halogen bulbs

D1S bulbs will be available after SEMA, which is this week in Las Vegas. I'll keep you guys updated on that.

Wow, i really like the 8000k. Mike, just wondering how much would a typical repair shop charge me to install a HID kit?

That's a good question, but honestly I can't say for sure how much a shop is going to charge you. It shouldn't be anything more than 1 hour of labor though, at least on my E46 it wasn't. To install the HID fogs on my E46 it took 15 minutes, and switching my headlight bulbs took 10 minutes.

It's easy enough that you can do it yourself also.

I Have 325i and used to install HID kit(included avoid headlight warning light on display panel and installed BMW dealer), but my control unit were burned and had to replace with my own expense! Currently, I'm looking for OEM Bi-Xenon headlight.

In my opinion, there is no HID kit that is compatiable and should wait for a month or so. If anyone who already installed HID kit with no problem, please let me know so that I can change my mind to HID kit again!

I really don't want to spend $$$$ for my headlight. Just want to drive with safe night condition. Indonesia doesn't have a good street light! That was why!
