Hi guys,

There are many options out there, your budget will really guide you. If price is not a concern, a set of forged wheels like HRE or DPE will be top notch. If you are looking for something more affordable, VMR is the way to go.

The "best" wheel to buy is really debatable, and depends on what you are going for. If you are going for all out looks and quality, many would argue you can not beat a 3 piece wheel such as HRE and ISS Forged. If you are going for performance and monoblock look, than many would say Yokohama and Volk are the best options available for the 1 series. The Volk G2 is a Forged wheel, while the Advan RZ is a flow formed cast wheel. Overall quality between the two is fantastic and comparable. They are both designed for and used in Racing conditions, so both their strength/weight and finish quality can really take a beating. Advan is a little lower cost than Volk, and the strength and weight characteristics are very similar to a Forged wheel.
19" Advan RZ on our Project 1 18" Volk G2 on our Project 1 Both are available in 8" +45 front and 9" +50 rear, but the Volk is only available in 18" while the Advan is available in 18" and 19". Good sizing to fit a 225 and 255 tire with no rubbing issues. If you have any questions feel free to shoot us a PM. |

This is the best wheel, it's extremly light, reasonable priced and it passed the strict european TUV qualification tests (which make the US/DOT regulations look like a joke) There's no other wheel in the market that comes closes. If you don't mind the styling (personally I am not a big fan) this is the wheel. |

I ordered the Advan RZ after looking at the OZ's as I couln't get an offset that would allow me to use 225 and 255 tyres in the OZ but the Advan is designed to take them on stock suspension

You really can't go wrong with a set of BBS Wheels! The Forgestar F14s are an excellent choice as well! They're also Flow Formed Cast wheels just like the BBS counterparts. Quote of the year if I say so. OP: Get wheels that make you happy that wont upset your wallet at the same time... There are tons of wheels out there that are available for this car, and I believe you should pick wheels that make you say wow everytime you see the car. |
