What size spacer for 225/255 combo?

I'm running Continental DWS 225/35 and 255/40 tires and am looking for the correct size spacer to make it flush. I've heard the 10mm/18mm is too much on the +1 size tires, so I'm thinking 10mm/15mm? Anyone have any pics or recommendations for this set-up? Thanks in advance.

Kris,

Have you measured? This is the best way to determine spacer size as tire brand and sidewall shape can vary.

Are you suppose to measure from the outermost black plastic wheel well section or the inner lip of the fender? This is not as easy as it seems, or maybe I'm just a ruh-tard.

I have Continental DW's in 225/255 sizes on the original 18 inch wheels. I also have Eibach lowering springs. On the front wheels I used 12mm spacers and on the back are 5mm spacers. The fronts are perfect and sit flush with the fender lip. The rears are inset a bit so 10mm would probably fit.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking though...12mm front and 10mm back. Thanks again for backing that up though.

You want to measure from the outer most part of the inner fender and the tire. The wheel will have to clear the entire fender so the outer most contact point is where you measure.
