Correct they are always watching, a mate of mine who is a detective with QLD Police was stationed at the Casino full time looking for anyone with a bit of "extra" money to throw around.

Didn't know they had guys stationed at the casino watching. Also thought the onus was in the eye in the sky at the casino. Shame, seems all those people weren't checking me out last time...

The AML stuff is taken pretty seriously. I remember with Macquarie, I had a 2 day intensive course on it - bored me to death. Even now I have to keep up to date with their 'units'.

That's why you gotta take yourself to Macau where the whole point of the casinos is to help corrupt Chinese bureaucrats 'clean' their bribery money

I'm both looking forward to and dreading my time at Macq...getting drilled by the panel on 2nd round interviews was quite a daunting experience!

Heard a lot about Macau, sounds like an insane place. I don't actually gamble at all though mate - there are much better ways to lose money as I'm concerned!

Macq is pretty great place to work - I did my stint in Perth before the GFC. Sydney is supposed to be much more dynamic. In the least you learn a lot, real quick! You'll also definitely have a lot of fun - I have an affinity for traders!
