CIC 8.8" display - pin out and input format?
I scooped up a used 2012 8.8" fixed display off ebay.
I want to use this in conjunction with my phone (I don't have idrive and don't plan to retrofit it anytime soon). Does any have a pin out diagram of the connectors, and does anyone know what the video signal is comprised of (is it composite)? TIA.

The power to the CID comes from a 4 pin cable [12V, ground, CAN +, CAN -], this is wired to the junction box. I can tell you which pins they are if you like, ill just need to dig them up.
Video signal comes from the CIC computer in the form of some kind of Fakra connector which has 4 pins. (I think its a pink connector on the back of the screen). If i was to guess, i'd say that is an analog signal (RGB composite). Sorry mate but thats all i know. |
