Carbon fiber

hey guys, i am on the verge of owning a 1m. pending everything goes right, i will have it (that awkward time, where superstition takes ahold of your brain) and i was wondering, what are the carbon fiber options or parts i can replace that are made by bmw. I like as much carbon as possible

Don't think BMW has any official CF items for the 1M yet.

You can go certain aftermarket vendors though that are making an M3 type hood for the 1M, CSL trunk, front lip, diffuser, sideskirts, etc.

Depending how much $ you want to spend you can get quality that will be close to OEM but not 100%.

As does the BMW interior kit, but if you spring for all the interior parts...you'll be replacing some alcantara. A la carte would be the way to go there IMHO.

+1 Als hoping they come out with CF splitters similar to the M3, as well as a rear CF diffuser!

why do people keep calling it a diffuser?

We don't have a bloody diffuser. It's just a PLASTIC trim.

anyone know which carbon fiber trim pieces? I wouldn't want to replace any of the alcantara bits on the 1M, only the black plastic pieces like the gear shift surround. What other pieces are available from the OEM carbon fiber interior bits?
