1 more week to go!
I've been waiting for this for more than 2 months now and I just got a confirmation today that it has safely arrived here! I've never been this excited with a car! Couldn't get from a dealership here since they only released 4 units so I opted to buy my AW 1M at Irvine CA. 1 more week to go before I can release it from customs!

Congrats!! How did you manage to buy a car from a dealer (I assume you bought it from a dealer?) in the US and have it shipped to the Phillipines? I thought BMW frowned upon this? (just curious) You will love the new car!

Yes I got it from BMW Irvine last November. I had someone bought it and have it shipped here. It took long for the documents (in order for the car to be shipped outside US) to be released. My car is part of the 740 units released in the US. |

Some information, a 1M here in the Philippines costs $128,000.00 from BMW Philippines and that's not even full options.

Since the car is outside the US, we need to revise the number to 739! lol

In his case, I am sure he was able to make it because he is a US citizen, therefore he can buy a car or anything else in US directly or via a legal representative and make it shipped wherever his actual residence is, paying all the costs and receiving country's taxes and import duties. BMW can do nothing against this as long as he is a US citizen or has a double citizenship. |

What documents do you need to export from the US, if you don't mind me asking. BMW Country organizations can of course not grasp the concept of cross border customers. Instead they'll sooner die before they refund the years of unused service and warranty. |

I must say it's one hell of a machine! The sound is just incredible and I feel the power is never ending especially using it here where there are no speed limits in most of our roads! |
