Halogen Angel Eyes

I have searched and read everything I can on the different aftermarket angel eyes this board has to offer.

Can someone distill this for me: Can I buy aftermarket halogen angel eyes for a 2011 128i? I don't want Xenon. Just halogens like i have now, with the angel eyes.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, Angel eyes have been done to death but i'm still a little confused.

Best regards,

Joe

May I ask why you wouldn't want Xenon?

And if you want to upgrade you can take the route that a recent member did and put HID/LED rings into them. Makes a HUGE difference in appearance, but costs around $300 more for the extras

Thanks for the advice!

Am I correct in reading that no changes are required? The depos are plug and play?

Ya. Just make sure you are halogen not xenon headlights on your car. The DEPOs only work for halogen cars.

For us Halogen guys the DEPOs are a plug and play complete replacement headlight unit with rings just like the 135. You can change them out just like the 135 with LED bulbs.

If your talking about completely replacing the rings around the units then you should check out BavarianX who specialize in that.

So what I gather is if I want to change to Depo lights I'll have to replace my current halogen lamps b

It is possible to just equip halogen lights with a HID but it blinds people bc of the reflections..
