How about going with BMW's Alpine HiFi amp kit? These threads might help you out... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ght=alpine+amp http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ght=alpine+amp http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ght=alpine+amp |

Tim,
I'm not sure if the business professional amp in your car is digital or analog (since BMW does a good job changing the name in each market), but if you have the analog amp you should investigate JBL's MS-8. There are several posts on the MS-8 but it basically takes the pre-amp signal going to your amp, optimizes the signal for the car's interior/seating position and includes a moderate 8 channel internal amp (which is plenty strong for the stock speakers). You can also assign the various channels to RCA outputs if you want to run stronger external amps. The MS-8 transforms the sound even with stock speakers. In addition, there use to be a member that made a harness for the MS-8 which made it virtually plug&play. No need to cut any of the stock wires and the power source plugged straight into the battery. I'll see if I can find his name. |
