Rouge Engineering SSK: shift knob shaking issue
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Just installed new SSK by Rogue Engineering (like this http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=637414 ). Shifting is perfect but i have one issue. On a 1st gear and aggressive start (MDM on) shift knob shaking like crazy Is it normal? Any ideas? Last edited by aamelin; 11-26-2015 at 04:36 PM.. |

NOT normal! I bet the bottom of the shift linkage is coming into contact with the center drive shaft. Time to go under for a look-see.
Also check to see IF anything was left loose, like your rear trans subframe mounts or the exhaust. But I think your linkage is coming into contact with your drive shaft.

Wow, is it designed that way or did the linkage somehow get bent? This SSK has been on my mod list.
