Carbon Black CPO 2013 135is DCT -- SoCal
SOLD! Rare CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 135is coupe in immaculate condition with only 33,000 miles! Transferable BMW CPO warranty covers the car til April 2019 or 100K miles (extra $2000 value)! Awesome color combo of Carbon Black Metallic exterior (looks black in the shade and dark blue in the sun) with Oyster leather interior (beautiful off-white color). 7-speed Dual-Clutch Paddle-Shift transmission shifts lightning fast. Only 586 135is coupes ever sold in US and only made for 1 year (2013). "is" model includes BMW factory tune increasing horsepower to 320 and torque to 317, special BMW 313 wheels, and M performance exhaust, as well as 135is badges. Does 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and is an absolute rocket to drive. I've owned many BMWs, Audis, and Corvettes and this is my favorite drivers car of all. All stock except for two tasteful upgrades: 1) high-end alcantara steering wheel with BMW tri-color stitching and blue center stripe and 2) upgraded MadDad axleback exhaust giving this car an amazing sound (not obnoxious but more throaty than stock -- stock was pretty quiet). Get compliments all the time on the exhaust note and steering wheel. No modification to stock catalytic converters or headers so car is still 100% smog compliant. Drives perfectly, everything works as new, all maintenance done by BMW on time. Just got oil change, new front brakes, and new air filter at dealer in March '17. Tires are also near-new with approx. 75% tread remaining. Car has heated seats, comfort access (keyless entry and push-button start), bluetooth, sunroof, memory seats, and much more. If you drive this car, you'll fall in love with it. Only selling for a new BMW. Clean title, no accidents, and title-in-hand for easy sale. Located in Orange County, CA. Just lowered to $26,700 FIRM! Call or text Gregg at (949) 433-1422. Last edited by OC335sedan; 08-08-2017 at 12:19 PM.. |

Well then what about M2? I honestly think that's the only 2 based series I would consider an upgrade over the is.

Assume you're talking about sub-woofers? Never heard of that from the factory but maybe it's part of the Harmon Kardon sound system option (which this car doesn't have)??

If you want to put the car back to stock I have a BMW performance exhaust that I'm willing to trade for your maddad. Good luck on the sale you have a clean car.

Thanks Pinoypowers but I'm going to stick with the Maddad...I've had the performance exhaust before and it is nice but the Maddad has that slightly more aggressive tone I really like.

All 2013 base sound systems have the 8" subs under the front seats. My 135i has them. I swapped out the front set of speakers, tweeters/mids/subs, with Focal speakers.

I think he’s trying to offer you an opportunity to sell it fully stock which is why people buy the 135is.

Thanks for the input. I've shown the car a bunch lately and haven't found one person that prefers the stock M Performance Exhaust sound to the Maddad. The Maddad is just more exotic but still has no drone...and the beauty of this system is it's still 100% smog compliant as none of the downpipe/cats have been touched.

You might as well trade it in at that price. I was offered $27-28k at a BMW dealer for mine in VA. But I have about 5,000 less miles.

Thanks -- I will go to the dealership to check that out! Surprised no one has snatched this car up yet. It is super clean and needs nothing. Seems hard to sell used cars these days unless you are willing to give them away.

Nothing less than Fast and Furious 9 featuring a fully modified 135is will slow its continuing decrease in valuation. I would try Carmax first and then a BMW dealer to see who will try to rip you off the least.
Also have you advertised this in Autotrader or eBay with a reserve? Autotrader is probably your best bet to get it advertised to reach people besides here. You have to assume most of the people reading your post already own a BMW. You “should” be probably around $28-29k private party. However you’re missing the original exhaust so that could affect valuation. |

I don't need to trade it in. I still love driving the car.
Yes, it's on Autotrader and Craigslist too -- get more inquiries from those than the forum. It's easy to find an M Performance Exhaust if anyone wants it back on. In fact, I regularly get people wanting to trade their M Exhaust for my Maddad. |
