I've been on this board for a year, and I haven't seen any pattern of failures.

I have 13,500 miles on my DCT, and I'm currently running at about 350/350ish with no issues of slippage or anything. I've heard that the DCT can handle up to 500 hp, but that may just be a rumor. If you are on the fence about getting a car with the DCT, don't be. It is the best transmission I have ever used, it's incredible.

Its a great DCT, I test drove another DCT and it was terrible, shifting stupidly, being in the wrong gear, delayed downshifts.
This DCT is great because when you drive it in D mode you would think its a standard auto infact its way better, downshifts from 6th when you start to accelerate the tiniest bit, very quick upshifts, auto has nothing on it at all unlike other DCTs.

DCT is the best trans. i have ever had and its not even close. The only problem i had, was on the race track when it refused to downshift from 4th gear to third. It happened twice when the ambient temp.was over 90f with high humidity. Other than that DCT is fantastic.
