Thanks, I'm really enjoying it so far. The MultiMedia system is really nice, certainly compares well to my '09 iDrive. The only issue was when they prepped it, they burned through the paint on a plastic trim piece, but they made good on that this morning by replacing it while I waited.

Hey there, no I still have the 135i vert.....the wife's been driving it the past few days though as I play with my new toy

I have about 7 months left on the 1er lease, I just got a little anxious for another DD after turning my CTS in in March.

So far so good on the cleaning aspect. I washed it for the first time on Sunday morning and the clearcoat appears to be much more robust than the 1er's. I did my OCD thing and got my flashlight out to closely inspect the paint in the dark garage after washing it and there was very little if any micromarring. Hopefully it stays that way, I'm looking forward to my vacation later this month when I can give her the 2 step Menzerna polish, a coat of EZ Creme glaze and top it off with 2 coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond

Mmmmm menzerna. Just got myself a flex over the weekend and I'm stoked to try it out. I did a 3 stager with a porter cable back in march and I've just been doing washes since then, so I def have a little work ahead of me

You will absolutely love it, no doubt. I did a detail this past weekend and I used my Flex and my helper used a Griots Garage RO. From what I hear the GG machine is very similar to the PC.

At any rate, seeing them perform side by side shows just how good the Flex really is- extremely powerful and will not bog down or stop the rotation no matter how hard you press. It's great for working out tough scratches.

So, the M-B is in the shop......already........after 400 miles. Yesterday as I was driving, the check engine light came on and the car became stuck in second gear. Gotta love driving at 30 MPH with a line of cars behind you, revving a green engine to 4K RPM for like 5 miles......

The latest update from the dealer is that "the engine and transmission aren't communicating properly"

And I thought 1700 miles before needing a fuel pump was bad......this beats it by 1300 miles LOL. Ugh, what can you do.

I got it back last night after 6 days in the shop. They replaced the Transmission Valve Body, so hopefully all will be well now. I still love the car though.
