I see a few around Cincy. Mostly verts driven by women. There's a couple 1Ms around too. At TimmayFest this past summer, there were only a few of us there.

I had my oil changed at the dealer yesterday. A older gent (probably younger than me) was picking up his 5-series. He didn't even know what BMW it was. He did comment that it sure sounded good.

The SAs at the dealer always remark how clean my car is and like the sound when I pull into the service area. I think we have the last of the best until the M2 arrives. That may change my thoughts on the 2-series.

I was tempted by the M3 in Artic White they had in the showroom, but at $82K?

I bought my 135i last August and have only seen two other 1's on the road. I live south of Atlanta and commute up and down I 85 five days a week and it's a rare sight to see another 1er on the road.

Ive only had my 1er for 2 months, not sure if there's alot more on the road or i just notice them more now that I'm driving one and was shopping around for months before. Here in Miami I mostly see 128 coupes and verts and they are usually driven by young girls and women. And of course they're totally oblivious to me driving next to them in the same car :/

There is one 128i coupe on my street, one 128i AW vert somewhere in my neighborhood, and a 2 135i coupes in neighboring neighborhoods.

Oh, and I did run into what I can only assume is the douchiest 135i coupe owner on the planet at a local car wash. No dude, you do not get to cut in line by entering the exit and trying to shoehorn into one of the vacuum station lines, all the while revving what sounded like straight pipes causing all parked cars in the lot next to the carwash to set their alarms off. For nearly 20 minutes until someone had enough and let them in line.

Douche.

Not many here in Mississippi, rare to see one.

Logically there are less now , on the road or in a dealer lot, since some have been totaled.

Which dealer? Off the lot or delivery? I think many on the lot already have front plates with the roundel or something. I know that they come off the boat without front plate brackets installed.

I hate being the stereotypical female in a 128i coupe. I have to admit that 90% of the 128i's I see are driven by women. I have my reasons for getting a '28 and not a '35 and it's not just for the roundel, thankyouverymuch.
Almost all 1er drivers I see don't look around. I would wave or nod if they were looking

I don't think you're the stereotypical female in a 128i coupe. The reason I don't think so is because I don't think your average female would be driving a manual, nor do I think she'd be a 1addict.

This is not meant to be an insult, but a compliment, in case I'm not clear. You probably kick ass! If I saw you driving down the street I'd wave or nod. Hell, you're driving a 1er!

Come to Ohio. We're friendly folks. We'll wave to you and detail your car too.

I did see my twin on the road yesterday although it didn't have the PE. Old guy like me was driving it.

In Houston there have always been some around, but I might see one in a half hour of driving as opposed to tons of 3 series BMW's. Mostly 135i coupes and 128i verts. I have only seen one or two 235's and only 1 new M3. The depreciation on the 135i has been vicious, but that makes it a great used car deal.

I find it really weird that my Cali bmw dealer car didn't have holes drilled. They didn't make me sign any type of waiver either.
