1M Production Number? Picking up Sat :)

Finally picking up my VO M on saturday. It was an order someone backed out of so I don't have any of those fancy shipping or production line numbers some of you do .

Is there an easy way to identify what number of 1M production my vehicle is?

ex. 421 of 600 (just made up random numbers)

If thats the case its 544, and from a dealer i spoke with production of the car was 8/11

My production was complete 8/12 and my VIN number was in the mid 300s. My production started the day before shutdown in July though, maybe that's the diff?

Congrats! I have already registered this cars VIN 96444-VO-8/2011-USA in the 1M registery. Where are you at?

VIN 444 was still in August. I think he is referring to the sequence# 544 of _______.

My last 4 of the vin is 743 and just went into production, so that would put me at 843.

Ya I was just saying my 8/12 was one day after his 8/11 but my number was like 100 below his. My guess was his 8/11 was SOP and my 8/12 was EOP.

Either way thats a quick 100 cars, I didnt think they were making them that fast.

Nope. Production # does not = Vehicle Identification #.
