Ceramic brake

I have posi quiet ceramic pads on my 135i e82.
And i felt these pads are too soft on the pedal feel when i floored the brake pedal.

I found another one, it is called cool carbon, and do you think it will change the braking performance better?

That's typical of any ceramic pad.

Oh really,,, do I have to go back to metalic pads with a lot of dust?
I hate the wheel covered with black dust...
Is there any pads which have same or better performance as stock pads with less dust??

From the assortment of street pads I've tried Akebono pro act as close to the initial bite of a semi metallic pad in feel and has minimal dust. They do seem to take a split second to bite on a cold day in the rain however. I never tracked them or anything like that, but have done some heavy braking with them and they performed well.

Im starting to think the ceramic pads are not gonna be good as stock pads.
But thanks for your opinion, lowbadgethero.

What about Stoptech Performance Street Pads?
Are they dusty as stock pads?

I don't know what it is, but my brother's 2011 335i produces like NO dust. BMW must have switched compounds somewhere along the line because my car's wheels are black after a week! I'd do some research on what the new BMWs use; their wheels don't seem to get nearly as dusty as the older ones . . . .

Yeah they dust, and you need to drive relatively hard a fair bit to keep them from getting pad deposits.

Is your primary motivation brake dust? If so just use a wheel wax.
