E9x Brakes
Will rotors and calipers off of a E9x M3 or aftermarket kit work with a 2011 135i. I run 19in AG wheels so clearance with the wheel isn't really an issue just wondered if the E9x and E82 kits were compatible.

I know it works for the 335i. Not sure about the m3. I think I recall people saying the M3 brake parts are not compatible.

Is that due to the design or clearance issues with common wheel and tire set ups for the 1series. I would think that m3 brakes would work with a 335i so I think that would carry over I may be wrong though.

It's by design. I don't think M3 parts are compatible with 335i either, but I could be wrong. The 335i and 135i share the same suspension components and mounting holes for the brakes.

So I've done some looking around and apparently you need a special bracket to run the M3 brakes on a 335i or switch over to a complete m3 front suspension spindles and all. Also the M3 master brake cylinder is its own part unique to the m3. Would be very interesting if someone were to switch over to a complete m3 front suspension or a custom bracket with the M3 master cylinder.

M3 brakes will not work on non M because of front bearing and rotor offset
M3 or 1m shocks won't work Cuz they need the m3 knuckle front Cuz they are fat at the bottom
