exhaust noise

I have berk race exhaust. I have noticed latley that every time I start up my car it sound like i have butterfly flanges when they open up just like the stock 135i n54 of the stock flangs sound. is this normal?

Secondary air pump? I think it's emissions stuff either way

My car does it too and I'm pretty sure everyone else's does. It idles a little high and is loud then drops down and it is quiet again right?

it sounds like a mecanisim open a and close but I don't have the stock exhaust no more that open the butterfly valve

Mine does that. could be normal, could be an issue that I don't know yet.
