Powermotive - wireless

I am looking to buy a wireless exhaust system with control flap from an Italian maker Powermotive. I want to achieve more agressive sound in open mode and the same the more quiet sound in closed mode (wife friendly..). Also I would like to get rid of the drone which can be quite annoying on my car between 2000-2400 rpms.

Does anyone on this forum have any experince with this exhaust ?

And in open mode (bypassing the muffler) is it likely that the drone is gone ?

I have N55 mids.

The new Power Motive exhaust installed. N55 mid pipes replaced with larger diameter midpipes without cats and muffler with a wireless valve (bypass). Sound in open mode is amazing. With valve closed quiet as stock.

And the drone is completely gone in both closed and open mode. In closed mode at cruising speed (100-150 Km/hr) you cannot hear any exhaust sound only tire noise.

Will add a video soon

Perfect .
It's the same as mine
Is your valve always open when turning on the car (even if it was turned off with the valve in off mode)? This is the only thing I don't like. You turn on the car and immediately you have to set off the valve, if you don't want to be too noisy, expecially at starting with high revs.

Valve is always open when starting the car. I believe it would be possible to wire the valve to start up in silent mode. I will normally immediately close the valve when starting up in garages as it can be pretty loud. I really like the startup sound of the exhaust so I decided not to re wire. The valve operation is very quick - pretty much instant so starting up in silent mode is still easy. By the way I learned that the valve is made from titanium to withstand high temperatures and for reliable operations.

Interesting thread! Power Motive's website is delightfully mystique (and in Italian only) about their products; Do they offer the exhaust material itself in stainless steel or in titanium as well?

Thank you Luuc. Decision was easy after our trip to the Dolomites and listening to your exhaust note. I am now in Italy with my son again. And there is quite a few tunnels here so you know what we are up to. I try not to scare the hell out of bikers...

I am ready to compare exhaust sound down south anytime.

Here is their wed site - all in Italian. The owner Franzon di Pierpaolo speaks English well.
