there are a few out there, but in my experience locally in the pacific northwest, 135i drivers do not participate in forums or clubs. I am reaching my decision point on which piggy back controller to get with my decision leaning toward the Proceed unit. I want to see more reports from customers stating either dyno info or 1/4 mile times to see what the results of modding with the DCT are before I make the leap!

Procede with DCT is amazing. Before I could go aggressive getting onto the freeway, but now with the Procede I have to be a bit careful because you'll hit triple digits before you know it. Power delivery, especially in second gear on is tremendous - I think I ease into first gear too slowly to avoid loosing traction.
I don't have any data logs, 1/4 times or anything else definitive yet, but it really is a beast.

Steve that sounds great. Are you running v5 on the procede? I have the n55 dct as well and am about ready to take the plunge with the procede. Is that your only performance mod?

is it actually alot louder or a nice pitch only n55 pretty loud compared to n54 i cant really make out over videos; if you had to do it all over agian would you still buy it, or go with something else. One more thing is the same performance exaust from the n54 that goes with the n55.

It's actually v4 still. It was delivered just before they made the switch to v5 and I'm not taking things apart until I'm set to install a USB cable into the cabin. That's all I have on the car for now, don't really feel the need for a lot more.

Frankly, I'm still waiting to see what the aftermarket does for this car. I've had great experiences with JB3 on the N54, but I'm hesitant to use a product still labeled officially beta on my car, as is the case with the JB3 for the N55.
I've never used Vishnu's products, I honestly wasn't aware they were released for the N55. |

I don't think you can go wrong w/either Berger Mortorsports or VISHNU. Both are great tuners and both have huge customer support even outside the BMW enthusiasts.

I’ve got the vishnu... omg i love it. Unfortunately, I’ve only been able to drive the car twice since the install due to snow. None the less, this thing is instantly noticeable. The install was simple, but time consuming... either way, the results are insane. I can’t go back to stock. On another note, each time I called vishnu, I talked to the guys designing the tune, so customer service was spot on, and they really know what they are doing... sooooo vishnu =
oh, and no codes.

Depending on where you are, most BMW performance shops will have the Berger Motorports software to install and will dyno tune it if you request it. I know Vivid Racing in Gilbert, Arizona do dyno-tunes w/ecu flashes.
