car window malfunction in dealership, who should pay for that?

Hey, I need some opinions here.

My driver side window got malfunction during the time my car was in dealership for regular maintenance. By the time I dropped the car off, the window worked totally fine. I am wondering who is responsible for the repair cost? me or the dealership?

Thanks for all the opinions

Would not see how they could have broken it, so I would say you are responsible for it. Just bad timing.

Exactly.

No reason during routine maintenance to remove the door panel(though BMW window regulators could basically qualify as a routine procedure ), so this sounds like it is on you.
