Is my car going to die???
I have a 2011 135i that is about to hit 30k miles. In the last 2 weeks it seems like my car has taken a turn for the worst and is on the verge of death. I'm running the N55 JB3. I just had to replace the factory charge pipe with a CPE pipe that is larger then the stock pipe. (I want to say it is 3in) The turbo now lags bad! It shifts pretty rough through all gears now too, either because the turbo wont dump boost between the shifts, or the RPM's just completely drop off between shifts now. I'm feeling a pretty bad vibration in the shift knob, and it is starting to stick taking off in first gear. I almost have to completely let the pedal out for the car to even start rolling. On top of it all the engine just runs very rough at times and sounds like a diesel engine. Should I be worried or will a quick service at the dealership handle most of these issues. Almost all of these issues just started overnight and I'm feeling overwhelmed. Any advice will be appreciated.

N55 has wastegate/diverter valve... no BOV.
Check codes with your JB3 and post them here. You should upgrade to JB4 Stage 2 soon. Did you get the reduced power yellow half engine or anything?

The charge pipe is secure and installed correctly. No half engine light as a direct result of the new charge pipe. If driving in excess of 3 or 4 hours it will sometimes go into limp mode. I checked the code and its an exhaust code. Temperature if i remember correctly.

be honest, have you been ragging the shit out of your car? it sounds like your clutch is wearing prematurely if it engages that late in the pedal, which is a sign it has been thoroughly abused.

You could be going into limp mode due to oil temps. Is your oil temp past 260-degrees when you get the half engine warning?

I honestly don't believe I have been ragging on it too hard. I haven't actually raced it in over a year and otherwise I'm really not that hard on it. Then again I suppose my idea of ragging on it could be different then yours or anyone elses. And no oil temp is always around 250 degrees. The last time it threw a half engine, the code came back to be an exhaust temp code, or exhaust sensor code, cant really remember. I shut the car off for a few mins, restarted it and it was fine. I'm probably just going to make a service appointment and bring up some of these issues.

Sounds like you need to pull the JB3, see how the car drives, then go in for service under waranty. Tell them your girl friend has been driving the car and now it seems different.
