1M Cabrio may be produced if 1M Coupe successful

What is being given serious thought , however is that officially it is just a Coupe. Unofficially they have created a Cabrio. If the car is as popular on the market as it is on a review or computer screen, then there is no doubt BMW will introduce the cabrio to herald the end of E88 Cabrio production which will climax in late 2012 , with the next generation 1er Cabrio F23 arriving in early 2013. The statistics shows that with the Coupe all sold and an additional Cabrio BMW can recooperate the budget and then some for this short term enthusiast project.

Sounds like a CSL version will have to wait for the next generation, whilst a Cabrio will be released at end of 1M coupe production run (if sales are strong).

Also note that BMW expects to sellout of 1M coupes.

If ts officially unveiled by the time I go to study abroad. Hint hint august 2011. I'll ED it and love the crap out of it...but only if I can have it in orange.

I wouldn't worry about that. How many 1 series do you see compared to 3 series?
