Rare spec 2013 135is DCT
Thought I'd gauge interest in my 135is that I will be selling in December. I purchased the car in March and I love it, but It's my daily and I'm finding myself regularly needing to do tasks that the car is not big enough for. It's a real shame because as you all know these cars are rare, with only 586 made. Here's the lowdown - Black Sapphire metallic with Savannah Beige leather (only one ever made in this spec) DCT Currently at 84k miles Car is unmodified except for a Bimmertech CarPlay/backup cam system Tires are Michelin PS3 (AW), good shape Car pulls hard and has no signs of any mechanical issues, charge pipe was recently replaced due to a partial failure of the original. Only option I believe the car doesn't have is heated seats and the full set of Msport aluminum foot pedals. Floor mats are BMW all weather ones. Interior - 9/10, very little wear for age, drivers side seat has a perforation starting to come through on outside of left bolster. Back seats appear to never have been used. Exterior - 6.5/10 Paint is still striking, with some swirling, and stone chips across front bumper, some on hood, one on the roof. Bottom of bumper has had a hard life from the previous owners, but this is not visible unless you get under the car. A couple other small scrapes, and the right wheels both have some curb rash. I have a guy who will take care of all of this though, and I will also get the car paint corrected and ceramic coated if my asking price is met or gotten very close to. If a potential buyer doesn't want the car restored we can discuss a lower price of course. The car is driven about 15miles daily, mostly freeways. I have a 993 for canyon duty so I have resisted the urge to go all out with the suspension mods, but that's what i'd do if i wanted to really drive it hard. Seems like the previous owner was meticulously clean, and also drove the car mainly on freeways, judging by its stone chips, yet low wear on the suspension components. It feels super comfy yet can hold its own through a corner nicely. I do think its crying out for some proper 225/255 sticky summer tires though. I had my BMW specialist mechanic here in Glendale give it a thorough once over after buying it (it had already had a local ppi done when i bought it in Houston), and they didn't find anything that needed attention. Oil change was performed 2k miles ago, and the charge pipe was replaced 1k miles ago with an OEM unit. Pretty hard to find an-unmodified 135i or is these days, and having the only one in this spec is pretty fun. Of course these aren't 1Ms in terms of an investment, but for the money it's a pretty sweet sports car. The rack is fantastic, it feels way faster than the 330hp rating, and those sports seat are perfect IMO. Anyways, I'll stop rambling on before I decide not to sell. Mileage is a bit on the higher side for the asking and the interior color might also limit interest? I looked at a mint condition iS earlier this year, DCT with ~40k miles, alpine white/red interior, was asking $25k and sold in a day.

Appreciate the feedback! I'll be getting the exterior flaws fixed up and it's going up on BAT a bit later this year, I'll leave this up for now just incase someone is interested.

Agreed with the thoughts on pricing. I saw a ~45-50k mile 135is white on black late summer for under 23k that I passed on. I think this is probably a high teens car. Will keep eyes peeled for this on BAT. May try to snag it then!

Update, I recently had the coolant system replaced due to a leak, new radiator, hoses etc. And a new front-right tire due to a nasty pothole today, LA roads...
All cosmetic issues are also getting fixed this thursday, providing I don't trade it in for a nice clean E36 M3 I'm looking at tomorrow |
