Windblocker for the 1-series convertible

For you 1-series convertible owners...

Did you get the BMW Windblocker accessory for the 1-series?
If so, how much did it cost and what is your opinion of it?

Are there other non-OEM products that work better?

you can look it up on bmwusa site under assessories for the 1er.vert its $495 but my dealer has none yet. I used on on a mb clk and it was very effective
