Homelink mirror

Bought this car a while back and I've just realized that the mirror isn't the original one. I have comfort access and my car is convertible. The compass doesn't work and I can't even program the garage opener because the led never works. How can I make the car recognize the mirror so it can function?

all other functions are working (auto dimming, key fob, comfort access)?
It would be nice to know the original vehicle order (VO). Can you post the last seven digits of your VIN or the VO? You can also send it via private message.
