Does the non-HID foglight look like the HID foglights? I'm worried about the OBD error too, and since these bulbs are cheaper, I might just get these instead of HID fogs.

I like the white turn signals too Wonder if i should change it.

Sean, I dunno about the exact yen conversion, but I think it's around 117 yen/dollar.

I have never see real HID foglights before, so I couldn't tell you if mine looks like HID. However, they are really bright, they are covering up the xenon when you look at the car from far away. These bulbs are easy to install, cheap, and nice looking, therefore I didn't go with HID fog.
As for the white turn signals, i think you should change it, cause at night time, the signal lites up as an orange light, makes the whole setup look bad. But that's just mine opinion. Somehow, I still aren't satisfied with my current signal light. Its too dim and has blue color when its on. Anyone know any better signal lights?

Lastly, let me clear things up regards to purchasing this Brex kit. My cousin purchased it while he was in Jap, via the website that was posted in other Brex thread. He is back in US now, so I can't help you guys to get a set. I tried to use my credit card to purchase it, however, my cousin told me the website charges additional fees if using credit card, and I dont know how much more. The cost of this set is 21000 yen, which is about $190 with current exchange rate.
So, see if you guys have any connection in Jap and have them send it to you. Good luck.

LWL, can you still see the angel eyes even when the low beam xenons are on? With the stock setup there's a contrast so you can actually make out the angel eyes but I'm wondering if with the Brex kit they'll all just blur together...

And did you just change the bulbs to get your corners mostly clear?

When you stand 3~4 feets in front of the car, the anagel would blend in with the xenon; you can still see it, but less visibility. However, if you stand further away from the car, you can still see the angel eyes pretty clear.

Yes, I just changed the bulbs for signals to get my corners mostly clearly..... although I am not satisfying with the current set of bulbs.

darn -- so basically it's a tradeoff between how good the white ring looks when just the angel eyes are on versus being able to see the angel eyes with xenon low beams on

I like how it looks with the low beams on -- there's a nice contrast. But those white rings look sick on their own ...

Anyhow, if anyone needs help to install the Brex kit, let me know. I am glad to help E90post members here.
So how did you take it off? I'm having the same problem here, and I don't want to damage my rims. Did you oil it or water it or just pull it hard? please help. caz I did pull it very hard already.

My financee just kept "shaking" the rim...... cause he was so mad that he couldn't take the rim off. After 45 min fighting with the rim, it just cameoff. The point is to....... keep shaking, turning, pulling..... the rust in btw the holding part and the rim will break apart. KEEP FIGHTING! I have no problem with the passenger side rim.
