Bimmian has just released the new Illuminated Shift Knob for All BMWs. These are available in Brushed Aluminum, Chrome and Gunmetal to match your interior trim or theme.

No permanent modifications are necessary to your vehicle to make installation of this product possible.

The 3 bolts, allen key and chosen shift gate emblem is provided with each shift knob.

Power for the built in LED can be sourced from any 12v circuit on the vehicle that is powered while the car is on.

These are now in stock and come with a variety of shift patterns based on your transmission. For ordering information, visit the product page below or contact us directly.

I had the privelege of driving the red dragon the other day and loved the shifter. I am a huge fan of the stock leather shifter but this one had much better engagement and feel with the added weight.

Does the LED run on battery or wiring to the car? Installation instructions?

Correct. Most people just tap them into one of the wires that power the interior lights so it lights up along with the rest of the interior when headlamps are on.
