Who out there has done the lsd with a 6mt. Just wondering how you like it, and how much was the final cost. May do this instead of rims

HP Autowerks has them for $1995 exchange. Installation is fairly easy since you just exchange the whole diff. Since mine is mostly street driven, I'm leaving the diff stock for now.

I'm pretty sure all the 135i's have welded diffs, regaurdless of build date.

Im not certain this is true. If you ask Harrold at HP or Kevin Bird they will tell you different. Apparently the year and also whether you have auto or manual does determine whether the diff is welded or bolted.
