Right cable to code car?

I have a 2012 128i E82 6 speed manual
will this cable be compatible with it?
BMW INPA / Ediabas K+DCAN USB Interface

I have contacted the company Sunday but I have not heard a response yet. Maybe they are on holiday?

I just ordered this cable this past Friday. There are others out there but if you get one with the blue board you can not code injectors...

Everyone claims THIS is the cable you want.

Haha be sure to save your original ECU program file.

Thankfully I'll be storing my 1er for the winter so I will take the time to really go into the reserach and having the right skills to play around with it over this winter. Spring-time I should have it programmed to my tastes and some other relative's Bimmers to their liking.

I vaguely remember one of the other threads mentioning compatible software... Free, I think(?)
