In the case of DP's, I took that to a workshop to have that installed. IMHO, it should be left to the professionals unless you have access to a hoist, at the very least. This job looks like it's very tedious and it's hard to access everything. Also, making a mistake could be very costly, so lots of research needs to be done.

I hear ya, I recently graduated from the OCC school and have the scrapes to prove it (an unlike others both clips are in full working order) but thats about a 2 to 3 on the scale. The intake manifold and beyond imho is best left for the professionals.
Plus i'd really question the benefit of half a job. By that I mean if theres a shit load of well shit on the intake side of the valve then whats on the other side? for my money i'd wait for a few k's on the clock and strip the head properly and give her a little polish while we are at it, cause we all know there is nothing like a good polish
