Stock 128i doesn't even have an oil cooler.

You would also want to have a real BBK, tune off brake limp mode, swap to a MSport or BMW Perf bumper to get brake ducting, and fit F30 brake duct shields.

These first 10 kits will be a pre-release so we can get some general feedback from customer on the installation, performance etc.. Shortly after this pre-release we will open up the 325 / 330 on the webshop for the general public. We are just waiting on 1 part to clear production then we can start shipping these. This delay has allowed us to do some extended hot weather testing on our test car as it has been 105 with humidity here these past couple weeks so it's not all bad.

We will roll out other models shortly after the 325 / 330 until they are all available. This includes the 28 series which we know has a large following Due to the amount of work involved which each version we are going to take our time to make sure it is done correctly, we are not in a rush. I do not have any sort of exact time frame for the other models but it is safe to say they will be available this fall / winter if not sooner.

I wonder if 130i kits work on 128 with 3 stage manifold swap? Or if its a tuning difference.

I'm not sure there's even be a difference in kits for those cars. They both have N52

I've heard they kept blowing up motors. AA also claims that supercharging the n52 isn't worth it as the transmission can't handle it(according to e90 forum posts from AA).

I'm really hoping someone successfully supercharges an n52 long term; It would be a nice option to have in the future.

The only thing that comes to mind is that if you were to install this kit, you might end up with a blown N52 engine...

I genuinely would like to see a company succeed at supercharging n52's. It would be a nice option to have and i'd strongly consider it once someone had done a long term test (IE:20k, 50k, etc miles.).

I just can't understand why +100hp/8 psi would blow it up. That's a small safety margin, especially for BMW's standards in my experience.

And also, if it is the motor being the weak point, i wonder what is actually breaking.. Connecting Rod is my assumption but who knows.

There's only so much power you can add to any engine if you are stuck trying to make it fit into a 93 octane knock limit. It could be they're into pre-detonation territory for this motor and fuel so no amount of tuning will help.

Even with the best pistons and rods in the world you can't just run 90 psi at 15:1 CR on 93. They'll just last slightly longer. i.e. they'll take a few more knock events before breaking.

I'm well aware of this. I come from the motocross scene so i know all about race engines and the benefits of high octane.

It's just hard for me to imagine why the n52 is so proportionally weaker of an engine compared to most other engines BMW has made.

That dyno looks great. I'm curious why they didn't pull all the way to 7k but nonetheless i hope it's released soon.

update on the e90 section. stage 1 will be 50rwhp gain(5psi). stage 1+(6-7 psi) will need new injectors and give a 80whp gain. They claimed at 100rwhp gain(8-10 psi) the motor was on the border of giving up and being generally unreliable.

They seem confident in the reliability of the stage 1. Rightly so because its $4500 for a 50hp gain. I cannot confidently say i would go that route. If i wanted that much power i'd just go the ITB and stand alone route.. which is never happening. I'm saving my pennies for an e46 m3 instead.

But is this for the e90 platform or for both. I believe some post stated that installation is different in each car
