Rikx, can you go ahead and change mine to "C" as the primary choice and "A" as a alternate?
Thanks....

I'll take a solo room. A buddy might end up riding along. If not, I could share with a NON-snoring person.
I'll be taking Friday and Monday off so I'm down for what ever as far as driving goes. I'll bring along my decent DSLR and my GoPro. It's a 5.5 hour drive from Wiesbaden so I'd like to drive down on Friday so I'm fresh for a weekend of canyon carving. EDIT: My buddy IS riding along so I need a room with 2 beds. For right now I am riding solo. A friend might come along, will tell you ASAP when I know 100%. If not I don't mind sharing a room, I don't snore just roll around a lot in my sleep.

You can mark me down for option C, I can room with Nick. The snoring won't bother me I'll just throw on my Bose noise canceling headphones and call it good.

I would also like to propose we throw in 6 euro each to pay for Ricks room for 1 night as compensation for setting this up.

Thanks but I'm doing this for a great bunch of guys I personally know and for the chance to meet 10 more...in a wonderful international gathering of 1 series lovers....driving a road that defies imagination and reality.....it doesn't get much better than that and that's the payment for all this pain

This might be a tad off topic but what modifications would you guys suggest before tackling this drive? I have wheels and summer tires (Hankook Ventus V12s) on the way.
I was thinking SS brake lines, DOT 4 fluid, pads (not sure which ones yet), titanium shims, and possibly performance rotors (while I'm in there...). Sound like a good investment? |

My suspension/brakes are stock... Except for Sway bar. Is it a bad idea for me to drive this?

Not really sure if I want to lower my car. I mean it looks better, but the way I leave my town there is a stupid bridge where I would have to see if I can pass. How low is your elsabor67 and what springs? These say it will bring my car down 1.2” front and rear, which isn’t that bad I think. Or any other recommendations? |

I'm sure stock brakes and suspension will be just fine. I'm just looking for an excuse, really.
Ordered Cool Carbon pads, SS lines, Super Blue fluid and titanium shims today. Still debating on doing BMW Performance rotors. They sure would look nice with the new wheels, but they'd also add quite a bit of cost to my "budget" brake upgrade.... |

Also the Performance rotors DO eat up your brake pads quite a bit. I don't plan on getting the perf rotors again(I have them now). The only real gain I can see is after I wash my car my brakes work, as opposed to before I needed to do a "test" braking before really using them. lol

After Dackelone's testimony I might just forgo the performance rotors. No reason to chew up $300 pads any quicker than necessary.
Maybe I'll use that cash to get an M3 front sway instead... |

After Tuesday I'll have some ferodo 2500 pads (<1000 miles) and stainless steel brake lines for the 135 brakes available if anyone is interested in upgrading their brakes.
