Downpipes

Want to upgrade my down pipe and exhaust on my 2012 135i N55...lots of companies out there to choose from

Anyone have good recommendations?

Thinking about AR, aFe, CP-E, and Active Autowerkes (all cat-less)

If you don't mind spending a little extra for quality then go with Berk for the down pipe + exhaust. If your on a budget then do BMS downpipe + berk exhaust.

I have a Vishnu 3.5 catted and really like it. No smell and great decrease in spool time

Most piggyback tunes have an auto delete feature which keeps the DME from throwing a CEL. At this time I don't know of any DP fix for the N55.

YES it does. I picted up a Can Tool to auto-delete the code. I'm almost thinking about picking up a used catless DP and just going through a brutal uninstall/install every year for emissions (Texas). My shop charges me a lot for a downpipe install. Anyone do an N55 downpipe without too much headache? I'm an amateur mechanic but pretty handy.

I have a BMW chip installed and would love to go catless without rewriting everything

This is a N55 thread, not N54. That wont work on our vehicles

Get BMS DP's & a JB4. Lots of power & a built in DP fix to eliminate the cat codes. For a less expensive solution BMS DP's & the add-on BMS DP only FIX
