SFvalley335i now a 135i BSM pictures

Hey guys,

Ive been on this forum (e90post) since 2007 when the first 335i's came out. I was a beta tester for AA tuning and their Xede piggyback when I wrecked my first 335i. Damage wasnt too bad but the shady bodyshop I went to stole the insurance money to rebuild the car and shutdown shop!!

After that whole ordeal I got into another 335i, I was the first Procede customer owned car to break 400whp... At the time I was beta testing for vishnu and BMS... I ended up getting into a DoD contract and went to Afghanistan to work, so the car was sold.

Once I came back I wanted something different, so I got a G37s coupe, looks had me but after a few months I realized it wasnt what I wanted. It had no torq compared to what I was used to, but for the price and options it was hard to beat. A year after owning it, I sold it.

Wanting a torqy car, and having a VW as my first car to mod back in the days. I decided to get another vw. Jumped into a GTi, nimble little cars, nice low end torq and great handling for what they are.

After owning the Vw for almost a year, I got tired of it, it didnt seem like it had enough power to run the A/C and keep its hp. Without the A/C on the car drove pretty fast and was fun, but if you dared to turn on the A/C the car drove as if it was on 2 cylinders.

So I knew I came to the same junction again, an urge to fill void that my 417whp 335i had left. I searched the entire state of California but could not find a single manual 135 or 335 for sale with under 70k miles. Luckily I did a search and came across someone in Arizona selling their 135i manual. After receiving a few photos, I flew out to Phoenix and made the purchase.

In the last 6 months, Ive done a few things to the car, and once again enjoying over 400whp being FBO and running e85 mix.

Seriously dude, when there's large posts with lots of photos it's not necessary to quote it - instead say "OP" to direct your post to the original poster.

Looks amaaazing. So tastefully done, i'd personally cut out the front bumper grill and show off the intercooler, but regardless its beautiful.

That fitment is seriously tight on space, looks tremendous though. Is the picture of the wheel clearance from the front? I'd imagine the 235 is a task to fit, even with the ARC-8 offsets. I only ask because i'm 99% sure i'll be going with ARC-8s in the very near future, but i'm curious as to how the 235s fit up front. Car looks great man!

the staggered setup of arc8 with 235/265 PSS fits without issue on stock suspension. The problems arise once you begin to lower the car more than 1 inch.

Yes that picture was from the front... thats with a 3mm spacer.

Thanks in advance sfvalley335i!

I emailed the photographer that sits on the road taking photos of the cars... If his prices are reasonable I'll purchase and post it.

I suppose as long as there's a few mm of clearance inside, all should be well. Your setup (235/265 PSS staggered on ARC-8s) is literally what I'm going to be buying in the next week or three, so that's very useful information. They're great wheels, I just wish a set would show up in the FS section haha. Thanks for the information OP

Slightly ironic that you quoted his post, in which he quoted the photos, doubling the size of the problem...

But OP, beautiful car, well done. Tasteful mods and more than enough power to back it up.
