I did the spark plug change this morning, and it went rather well. I hate having to take off the engine cowl every time I do something, but that's the way it is, I guess.

This tutorial was quite useful, especially when it came time to remove the ignition coils.

The new plugs seem to have cured my "stuttered" acceleration problems and my Cylinder 5 Misfire problem with the JB3 in anything but Map 0. For troubleshooting purposes, I went ahead and swapped the #2 and #5 ignition coils in case I get another misfire code.

Here's a shot of the spark plug from my #5 cylinder next to the new one. My car has 30,700 miles.

Good thing you replaced your plugs! Those gaps look huge! And to think they are suppose to last 100K miles. No Way!!!

Yeah, 100k isn't happening. I'm thinking 20k is about as far as you want to go. The difference is ridiculous.
