I don't know much about the Nikon cameras but a lot of the footage in there was shot with the Nikon 20mm f2.8. I have a ring adaptor that we use to mount to the Canon body. You have to use it fully manuel because the camera can't communicate with it but that's half the fun!

nice vid.... I'd be scared as hell to put my 5DII on the side of my car with a suction cup though..... did you leave the neck strap on and hold onto it just for safety?

did you leave the image stabilizer activated on the lenses for the shots?

Some had image stabilization on and some didn't due to which lens we were using. We tucked the strap in the trunk, around the mirrors, and even used a bungie on some. Some we just had to trust the mount would hold. A little nerve racking at points, but you gotta risk it sometimes to get the shot you want!

Not that I'm aware of. I like the versatility of being able to have the option of using a Nikon lens.

I didn't get a chance to go on the shoot for that, only did the post work on it for a product called Qore on the playstation network. Would have been cool to meet him! I did get to meet Jens Pulver though, which was cool. Check out those videos when you get a chance, dudes pretty cool.

135i, yay!

A lot of video on the 5DII is shot through Nikon glass, especially AI & AIS manual focus lenses. Lenses that were built for autofocus are harder to focus in the manual mode than old MF lenses. We are going to see some HD/large sensor dedicated video cameras soon, which will probably minimize the use of DSLR's to shoot video.
