Reposting a "variation sur le même thème": to get your 1M an even bigger mouth or a moustache, give it the Audi treatment.

Nor convinced by this blacked-out backlid "connecting" the rear lights clusters. Too much Zorro.

Funny I actually have been waiting to do this on my VO. My biggest concern (being I am still new to wrapping) is getting the line straight across the top and smooth and wrinkle free through the license plate area.

I actually plan to do that with tinted tails. I just think it will be more a CF trunk unpainted in the middle section versus a vinyl overlay (like spyders Slek trunk). Einser also has this blacked out on his trunk.

You can always cut straight across even through the plate indent. As in dont cover the top of the indent where the lights are. Just sweep side to side with the top line straight across (covering only the vertical portion of the trunk). Get it?

True, and I would imagine there would be some stretching needed to keep everything cleand and bubble free through the indent of the whole plate area.

I wouldnt go where the lights are, I was talking more about the U shaped area under that. Only one way to find out, time to order more vinyl! (have a new piece for roof sitting around but not enough extra for the trunk

Found this mod and completed it with two 1inch strips of black Guerilla Tape on each side.

Take a look:

The Belgian AW 1M owner apparently finalized his 3.0 wrap project. The pictures below were posted yesterday by someone at "Autogespot" (http://www.autogespot.com/bmw-1-seri...e-1/2012/06/27).
