Got some laps in of the ring over the weekend, great weather mid 20's, and no torrential bloody rain like drought stricken England

Nice one mate, let me know when you get it fitted. As for the 13th, I wont be able to commit as I am dropping my car off on the 7th and leaving it with them for a week as one of the engineers is coming over from Germany during the week to fit and set up, so I probably wont get about to pick it up until the following week and then I need to sort out getting it over to H&S for a week for an exhaust, and then trying to fit in DTM at Brands on the 20th.

It really does. Do you mind pm'ing me how much you paid from your BMW contact for the rails and antenna housing, please? I'll be in London in a couple of weeks, so if it's cheaper than my quote here, I could buy there and ship back to Canada.

Just following some of your older post. My mother in law's Chanel bag cost me more than a carbon roof...

May be I should get one... may be I shouldn't... I am already telling my wife that I am painting my Callipers to Brembo GTR colours...

Now let me get this right, you purchased a Chanel bag for your 'mother-in-law'! and now you are thinking of getting yourself a Chanel bag (or is that a man bag)?

What the hell you doing spending out big on the mother-in-law when you could be spending out on the 1M!

Let me guess; you are not married! All your possible spending on your ride indirectly is related to your wife's happiness which in turn may be related to Chanel Bags for mother-in-laws.

Seems to be a universal phenomenon. Ordered my 1M and only informed my missus afterwards. On the basis of the reaction, considered it appropriate not to disclose straightaway that it was VO. Couple of days later showed the official catalogue to a befriended couple. Friend: "Now that's a nice orange. Good color choice!". Suddenly heard a voice from the kitchen going off like an alarm system: "WHAT? Did you just say ...orange ?"

So yes, apart from the car, you need to reserve an extra budget for some "out-of-pocket expenses".

To all Ladies out there: sorry.
did the same here! Wife cracked it when I told how much it cost!!

Ok that reads much better, glad to hear you didn't buy the mother-n-law a handbag and you are not planning to spend spend a small fortune for yourself on the same bloody handbag

Well you have my approval on the carbon roof
